Gasketed Plate Technology

Industrial Line Gasketed PHE

Demountable plate heat exchangers engineered for heat transfer loops. Sized to handle various industrial thermal duties.

Mechanical Configuration & Operation

Industrial Line gasketed plate heat exchangers (GPHE) comprise a pack of corrugated metal plates sealed with elastomer gaskets and compressed inside a steel frame using bolts. The fluids flow in counter current directions through alternating channels.

This modular design allows operators to alter thermal capacities post installation by adding, removing, or rearranging plates within the existing compression frame to meet changing thermal profiles.

Engineering Parameters

Heat Transfer Rates

Corrugated plate designs enhance turbulence and heat transfer efficiency, enabling compact heat exchanger solutions with high thermal performance, reduced energy consumption, and effective temperature control.

Gasket Sealing Systems

Equipped with glue free Clip on gaskets (NBR, EPDM, or Viton) that fit directly into plate grooves, allowing quick cleaning, inspection, and replacement during maintenance intervals.

Flexible Construction

Plates are pressed in thickness profiles from 0.4mm to 0.6mm, utilising SS316, Titanium, or specialised alloys to match mechanical pressure limits and fluid corrosion profiles.
